Student & Career Support
At Sapphire, our students are never just one of the crowd. Every student is placed into a small group, led by a dedicated mentor who checks in regularly and provides day-to-day guidance and care. Mentors are there to spot signs of homesickness, encourage confidence, and ensure students feel happy and supported.
Each evening, students have reflection time, supported by their mentor, where they can record their thoughts, set goals, and consider what they’ve learned that day. Tutors are also available for one-to-one chats, both academically and personally, and Course Directors are actively involved in student wellbeing.
Our Student Experience Manager ensures every aspect of student life is thoughtfully organised and delivered with care, while our Academic Lead oversees the consistency and excellence of course delivery. The Enrichment Manager curates the activities, excursions, and social elements that round out the student experience and create moments to remember.
On the careers side, each student has access to a professional career advisor who helps them identify strengths, explore future pathways, and build a personal profile. This early career guidance can be a powerful tool, offering students a chance to gain direction, clarity, and motivation for the years ahead. By starting this process early, students can focus their choices, set meaningful goals, and begin shaping a future that reflects their unique talents and ambitions.
Students will also attend a careers-focused workshop and visit another university campus to experience life in higher education from a fresh perspective.
