FAQ’S

Where Do Students Stay?

All students stay in modern, en-suite accommodation within a secure, university-style residence. Rooms are comfortable, private, and designed to give students a real taste of independent living. Pastoral staff are on-site 24/7 for support and supervision.

Is There Supervision?

Yes, student safety and wellbeing are our top priorities. We maintain a high staff-to-student ratio and have dedicated Sapphire staff living on site to ensure round-the-clock care, guidance, and pastoral support.

Can Students Use Their Phones?

Yes – phones are allowed, but we do expect students to stay fully engaged during academic sessions. During seminars, workshops, and talks, we ask that phones are put away so students can gain the full value of the experience without distraction.

What Happens on Arrival Day?

Students are welcomed by the Sapphire team and guided through the check-in process. They’ll take part in ice-breaker activities and group introductions to help them settle in, make connections, and feel part of the Sapphire community from day one. Families receive a confirmation message once students have arrived safely.

Do Students Need a Visa?

If a student is applying through an educational agent, the agent will typically assist with the visa process. If applying independently, we’re happy to provide guidance and support to help families understand the requirements and access the right documentation.

What About Travel Arrangements?

Travel is usually arranged by the agent or family. However, we can offer a meet-and-greet airport transfer service if requested. This includes collection from major UK airports and drop-off at the course location. Details will be shared well in advance of arrival.

What If I’m Booking Independently?

That’s absolutely fine too. Our admissions team is here to help you with any questions, from course selection to payment plans and supporting documents. If you’re applying without an agent, we’ll guide you through each step so you feel confident and informed.

How Do Payments Work?

After your place is confirmed, you’ll receive a detailed invoice with payment options. We offer secure card and bank transfer payments, and can arrange payment in instalments if needed.
